3CX PBX and SBC can be installed on Linux and most versions of Windows. Below is a complete list of supported operating systems.
Recommended Hardware Requirements
3CX Version 16
All operating systems must be installed in their x64 version. 32-bit versions are not compatible with 3CX PBX server and 3CX SBC. Full Windows and Linux updates are also mandatory to be applied to ensure compatibility with 3CX.
Supported and Tested by 3CX:
- Linux Debian 9 (kernel 4.9)
- Raspbian Stretch
- Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise)
- Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 (Foundation, Standard, Datacenter)
- Windows Server 2016 (Standard, Datacenter)
- Windows Server 2019 (Standard, Datacenter)
Not Supported and Tested by 3CX:
- Linux Debian 8 (kernel 3.16)
- Windows 7 SP1 (Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise)
- Windows 8 and 8.1 (Pro, Enterprise)
- Windows 2008 R2 SP1 (Web, Foundation, Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter)
