Description: One-way audio Issue
Scenario 1:
A is a Yealink phone, B is Yealink phone
A calls B, B answers, A and B establishes a call
A can’t hear B, but B can hear A (A can hear B, but B can’t hear A)
Scenario 2:
A is Yealink phone, B is the Mobile phone or PSTN number or another brand IP Phone
A call B, B answer, A and B establish a call
A can’t hear B, but B can hear A (A can hear B, but B can’t hear A)
Cause:
- Software issues
- Network environment
- Hardware issue
Resolution
- Change the audio channel to the SPEAKER or Headset to see if the audio can be heard. If yes, then, the issue is caused by the handset hardware problem. Please change a new handset or a new handset cord. If the SPEAKER or Headset also can’t hear the audio, please go to step 2.
- Please check IP directly call to see if two IP phones can hear each other or not? If IP direct calls no problem, then it is a network environment issue, please check your network devices to see if any configuration is wrong!
- If the issue still exists when using IP directly call please collect the information of the below questions to our CloudOne support Team.
- The issue is happening in an external call or internal call? Or no matter what kinds of call the one-way audio issue is there?
- How many phones are there on your side and how many phones are affected by this issue?
- Please offer us trace file of Yealink phone for future analysis,trace file including pcap file, config bin and Syslog file , we need pcap file to check the communication of phone and server-side , we need Syslog file to know what happened to phone side , and we need config file to check if any configuration is missed, so we need three of them to provide at one time.
- Is there another Yealink phone or another brand of VOIP phone that can work well? If yes, please provide the issue data of Yealink phone or the trace of other brand’s phone to us to do the comparison check.
