Phone Can't Power Up through POE Print

  • 318

Description: A phone can’t boot up with POE, the power LED doesn’t light when you plug the phone to a POE switch port.

Cause: The POE model is broken

The motherboard is broken

The switch don’t support POE or the POE configuration in the switch is incorrect

Resolution: Connect the phone to a POE capable switch port, check the power LED status.

If the power LED doesn’t light, maybe the POE model is broken; please try connecting another same model phone to this switch port.

If another phone can’t boot up either, please check the switch port, you can try another POE switch port or checking the switch POE configuration.

If another phone can boot up, we can basically confirm it is a hardware problem.

Plugin a power adapter, if the phone can boot up then the POE model is the fault. If not, the motherboard is the fault, else  contact our Cloud One Support by sending an email which includes problem description, test result, your country, phone Serial Number & MAC address to support@cloudone.co
